Getting there
Istanbul is exceptionally well connected, with two international airports providing convenient access from destinations across the globe.
Istanbul Airport (IST), located on the European side of the city, is one of the world's largest international aviation hubs. Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) is situated on the Asian side and also offers an extensive network of international and domestic flights.
Once in Istanbul, delegates can take advantage of the city's comprehensive public transport network, including metro, tram, ferry, bus and taxi services, making it easy to travel between the congress venue and the city's many attractions.
Climate
June is the perfect time to visit Istanbul. Early summer brings warm pleasant days and comfortably cooler evenings with average temperatures of 24–28°C (75–82°F) during the day, night temperatures of 16–20°C (61–68°F) and moderate humidity. Lightweight clothing is recommended for daytime, together with a light jacket or cardigan for the evenings.
Visa
You are encouraged to check visa requirements well in advance of travel, as entry requirements vary depending on nationality. Information on visa eligibility and the application process is available through the Republic of Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Please consult the official website here before making your travel arrangements.
